TWO ZONES
From the earliest design stages, our goal with the Strada was to combine aerodynamics and comfort. While pushing aerodynamic performance to the top of its category, the Strada features a frame with two clearly distinct zones:
- The front half, exposed to the wind, with a slim head tube, airfoil-profile fork legs, and extended side surfaces for maximum aerodynamic efficiency.
- The rear half is the comfort zone: the curved seat tube, thin seatstays, and long aero seatpost ensure a smooth ride without compromising aero performance.
OPTIMIZED FOR TYRES UP TO 30 MM
Wheels and tyres create more aerodynamic drag than any other part of the bike. Wider tyres are more effective at reducing vibrations caused by rough asphalt, potholes, cobbles, and pavé, while also offering lower rolling resistance. A larger casing creates a shorter, more rounded contact patch, improving cornering grip and reducing resistance in straight-line riding.
Wider tyres significantly enhance comfort by absorbing road vibrations and, together with the frame, also contribute to aerodynamic performance. The 3T Strada, ahead of what is now a widespread trend, was the first aero bike designed around high-volume tyres. Paired with 3T Discus carbon wheels, engineered for next-generation tyres, the package delivers comfort, speed, and performance on any road, at any pace.
REALFAST AERODYNAMICS
We love studying aerodynamics, not just theory, but real-world bike aerodynamics. That’s why we test our bikes not only at the conventional 30 mph (48 km/h), but also at 20 mph (32 km/h), with bottle cages and bottles installed to simulate real riding conditions.
3T FUNDI INTEGRALE II FORK
Designed to offer the best possible aerodynamic performance, the 3T Fundi Integrale II fork features asymmetric blade-shaped legs, narrow from the front, with a wide lateral surface.
The braking system is fully integrated into the fork, accounting for torsional forces, while the head tube area remains extremely slim for a clean and efficient profile. The frame–fork system delivers unmatched handling and aero performance.
3T MORE – INTEGRALE CABLE ROUTING
Internal cable routing is an elegant solution that also brings significant aerodynamic benefits, but only if it doesn’t lead to oversized head tubes and bearings. Our design goal was to fully integrate cables while keeping the head tube extremely narrow. A real engineering challenge with stunning results.
From the front, you’ll notice compact bearings; from the side, the head tube extends into the frame with a fully aerodynamic “nose.” Cables are seamlessly integrated into the 3T Apto Integrale stem, blending aesthetics with functionality.
Efficiency is what matters: aerodynamics are useless if you cannot maintain a comfortable, sustainable position, even on long rides.

Design in details
MINIMALIST CROWN
Instead of a bulky, unaero crown, we minimize its size. This improves the crown’s aerodynamics and moves the front wheel closer to the downtube, creating a perfect transition for the airflow.
CONTINUOUS FIBER CROWN
The integrated carbon bearing race uses a separate ring layup (green), so fibers in the fork crown run more straight from the legs into the steerer for a strong and stiff connection.
SQAERO FORK LEGS
The Sqaero fork airfoil only has a small truncation, perfect to guide the airflow around the front wheel and boost fork stiffness. Different left & right profiles are used to counteract braking forces.
MAXIMIZED CURVED CUT-OUT
The curved seattube covers more of the rear wheel and provides extra comfort.
MIND THE GAP
The downtube closely follows the front wheel for better airflow transition and less turbulence.
32MM DOWNTUBE NECK
In front of the water bottle, the downtube narrows to perfectly match the front tire airflow.
NARROW & DEEP HEADTUBE
Narrow (1.125"-1.25" cups instead of common 1.5" for internal cable routing) is aero. Deep guides the airflow. All cables inside.
BIG STEERER
Inside the narrow headtube is a steerer with a large 1.5” lower section for best strength and stiffness.
3T MINMAX INTEGRALE HEADSET
To fit this big 1.5" steerer inside the narrow 1.125"-1.25" headtube cups, we use this custom ultra-sleek high-load headset.
TIRE CLEARANCE
Fits tires up to 30mm WAM and 344mm RAM.
THREADED BB
All Strada complete bikes come with threaded BBs without any alloy rings in the carbon (added weight, complexity and debonding risk).
DIRECT-MOUNT FRONT BRAKE
Standard forks require a flip-flop adaptor to set the correct brake rotor size. Our direct-mount pre-sets the caliper for 160mm rotors without any extra pieces.
SELF-ALIGNING WEDGE CLAMP
Self-adjusting bolt angle for higher clamping forces with lower torque.
RITCHEY RAIL CLAMP
The new standard for road bikes, available for round and oval rails.
